Who are we?
Broken Rainbow UK is a charity and company limited by guarantee. It has a small staff team and the work is overseen by a Board of Trustees.
Consultant CEO:: Rita Hirani. Rita has over 15 years direct experience of working in the domestic violence sector, mainly with LGBT and Minority sectors. Once a co-chair of Stonewall Housing she also worked in partnership with the Naz project.
Interim CEO:: Jackie Fernandez. Fundraising. Numerous years experience of securing funding in the charity sector as well as CEO posts in the LGBT Housing sector.

Trustees::
Chair:: Jo Barringer. Jo is a steering group member of Brighton & Hove's LGBT workers forum, she devised and implemented the LGBT staff mentoring scheme, and sits on the steering group for the GBT IDVA post in Brighton. She is also a member of the LGBT DV & Abuse working group Brighton and coconvenor of the South East Regions UNISON LGBT committee.
Trustee:: Ian Cole. Ian currently works for the NHS as a gay men’s worker providing outreach services, face to face contact, group facilitation and training on equality and diversity, LGBT issues and same sex domestic abuse. He is currently studying a masters degree in Public Health and Health promotion.
Trustee:: James Harrison. James is an aspiring barrister after having studied law at Reading University and Nottingham Law School. Amongst other activities, James has recently given several presentations on bisexuality and the differences between homophobia and biphobia.
Trustee:: Anu Prashar. Works for UNISON.
